The Keepsake Flight
A teddy bear is rarely just a toy. It is the first thing many of us chose to keep — a source of comfort at night, a companion in unfamiliar places, and later a quiet reminder of who we were before everything got complicated. Plenty of adults still have theirs, tucked away somewhere safe.
Cloudling lets that keepsake take flight. In the lower-right corner of a glossy turquoise dial, the bear hangs from its strings, one arm raised, drifting rather than climbing. High in the upper-left corner, five balloons bob together in purple, blue, pink and orange, with a red heart at the top that gives the design its emotional centre. The strings run between them on a diagonal and pass straight through the middle of the dial, so the hands turn on the very line that carries the bear.
The rest of the dial is left open. There are no numerals and no markers, and the turquoise reads as a calm, clear sky around a small figure. Every element is hand-painted, and the mood stays light: innocent without being childish, playful from a distance and sentimental up close.
